We were very fortunate to have 2 parents come in who are doctors.
They spoke to the children about their role and how they helped the community.
They talked about their job and what a doctor does.
Looked at a wide range of equipment such as stethoscopes, bandages, blood pressure machines and much more.
The children liked using the tools for a purpose.
They role played with each other being doctors and nurses.
Teddies were used to perform medical checks on.
The children tested the words for different equipment.
Practising using them in play.
It supported the children to feel more at ease when visiting the doctor.
Thank you so much Shipla and Emma.
