Christmas Wreaths
The Butterflies have been creating some Christmas wreaths. The children looked at a variety of deferent Christmas wreaths and created their own interpretation of a wreath using a variety of creative resources. The children used different sized paint brushes and paint sponges to make marks on the wreath. White was added to the green paint and the children explored the colour making it darker and lighter exploring with colour and marks. Once the wreath had been painted the children added a variety of sticking and gluing materials such as pom poms and pipe cleaners to decorate their wreath.
