Chinese New Year Noodle Stir Fry
This week the Butterflies children celebrated Chinese New Year. After reading a story about the Chinese New year, the took part in a cooking activity. They spoke about being safe around hot cooking stations and how to use tools. The children took turns mixing the rice noodles, followed by frying the vegetables. The children in Butterflies spoke about the foods they like to eat at home and nursery and they also spoke about the food they were using. They spoke about healthy vegetable and where they came from. Finally, the children got to eat their yummy rice noodle stir fry!
