World Environment Day 2021

In support of World environment day we spent the whole day learning and talking about how we could keep our world clean and safe for the future.

We explored recycling through our very active litter picking activity, in which the children were encouraged to find litter around the nursery and show high levels of excitement and engagement as they used their knowledge and critical thinking skills to sort the rubbish into recycling bags.

We then took our recycling to the complex recycling bins and listed out for the noises as the recycling was dropped into the bins.  

Pelicans, Puffins, Penguins, Seahorses, Turtles and Dolphins took a walk around our local area to observe nature and hunt for natural objects.

Goslings and Ducklings had lots of fun visiting and exploring the small allotments found locally. They all thoroughly enjoyed experiencing all of the different sights, smells and textures the discovered along the way.
