to mark the start of our new topic ‘spring’ the babies explored everything bumble bees , we made a bee themed tuff tray out of rice , the babies enjoyed using their fine motor skills to scoop up the rice and they also got the opportunity to explore textures whilst playing with the rice. We then expanded this activity by making a little garden where we used our imagination and saw the bumble bee’s flying around. The babies then had the chance to even fed the bees pollen from the different flowers.
