Vehicle mark making

This week in toddler room we continued our Transport theme by doing some large scale vehicle mark making. To begin with we used paint and cascades that we rolled cars and vehicles down to make marks and prints. We also put vehicles in some paint trays which we then used our gross motor skills to move the vehicles around the paper. We really enjoyed looking at the different marks we made. We then added our creation to our display board and have all loved looking at our art work. We then extended this further exploring marks we could make by rolling vehicles over shaving foam and paint. As we moved our vehicles the colours mixed and created patterns helping us to explore the cause and effect of our activity. We continued to extend this by exploring vehicles in different textures to make tracks and marks throughout our week. Well done toddlers what a great week of exploring marks and using our favourite vehicle to create marks and pictures.
