Under the sea:

This week to end the topic of ‘animals from around the world’ the babies enjoyed learning about different animals that live under the sea. We used the ipads to look at what animals live under the sea. We really enjoyed looking at the colourful coral and the different colourful fish that were swimming around. We then explored our own sea sensory tray where the babies used their fine motor skills to squeeze and s touch the jelly baff and the spaghetti. The babies were introduced to new words such as ‘sea’, ‘water’, ‘swimming’ in which they responded by babbling to the adults in the room. The babies thoroughly enjoyed looking at the different sea animals and enjoyed singing ‘baby shark’ and ‘5 little ducks’.

Well done babies for continuing your development of learning about different sea animals.
