The wheels on the bus

This week the babies have been looking at all things busses!!!

To start we went for a walk through our local community. We visited a bus stop and then went on a hunt for a red bus. Once we spotted one we listened to our adults sing one of our favourite songs The wheels on the bus and the children were encouraged to take part in the actions.  On our way back to nursey we saw a fire engine and the babies were amazed at the flashing lights and the noise it made as it zoomed past.  To continue our focus we decided to do a small world activity featuring some of the things we saw when we were outdoors. The children enjoyed transporting the play people between the busses.
