That’s not my unicorn
To continue the topic of fantasy and fiction, babies had a look at the book ‘that’s not my unicorn’. The babies enjoyed learning new vocabulary from the book an enjoyed exploring and feeling the different textures within the book. The babies enjoyed making their own unicorn horns out of ice cream cones and coloured milk. The babies used their fine motor skills to spread on the coloured milk on their ice cream cones an enjoyed sprinkling on the sprinkles to make their horns sparkly. We then enjoyed eating our unicorn horns, and this was very yummy. We then extended this activity by making our own unicorn tuff tray and enjoyed exploring the tuff tray with the unicorns and enjoyed looking at the fairy houses. The babies enjoyed exploring the different objects in the tray and enjoyed playing with their peers.
