On Thursday the all of the children in the nursery celebrated thanksgiving. In the baby room the children decorated their on reefs. They were able to explore the colour and texture of the different leaves while also exploring creating patterns as they stuck them down. In the toddler room the children used their morning snack time to come together and take part in sharing food that is a thanksgiving tradition. The children were able to use this time to help each other and discuss some things they are thankful for like their parents or nursery or their favourite toy. In the preschool room the children took part in group discussions where they were able to talk and share with peers what makes them thankful. These were copied onto some leaves and attached to a reef that was displayed in the room. The children were able to reflect and share their leaves with friends.
