St Patrick’s day
To celebrate St Patrick ’s Day in the toddler room we explored everything green! For our first activity we explored a tray filled with lucky leprechaun charms. We used our motor skills to scoop green rice and coloured tokens into buckets. We enjoyed searching for our favourite coloured token and coins. For our second activity we explored green playdough we patted and molded it into lucky clovers. We then created our own version of lucky charms with the playdough. We were able to be creative and make our own choices while learning about Irish traditions and stories. We then listened to some traditional Irish ceilidh music that we danced along to with scarves.
