St Andrew’s Day
To celebrate St Andrew’s day in the toddler room we listened to some Scottish songs. Claire taught us a song called Coulter’s Candy that her grandad sang to her when she was little. We also looked at some traditional highland dancing. We then explored a Scottish flag themed texture tray where we were able to explore with our hands and fingers helping develop our motor skills.
To celebrate St Andrew’s day the babies listened to some traditional Scottish songs and then the babies created their very own Scottish national flowers called thistles using our own handprints.
