Spooky Season Crafts
This week in preschool, we did lots of Halloween crafting! The children enjoyed making lots of different Halloween decorations for the party! The children used lots of different materials and tools to create their decorations. Preschool started by making hand print ghosts using white paint and black paper. One of the children said “look I made a ghost!” The children were all excited and couldn’t wait to make more! The children then decided they wanted to make some pumpkins! We painted paper plates orange and used magnetic tiles to add the features on! One of the children said “I’m going to make my pumpkin a scary one!” The crafting continued with mummies, cats and bats, where the children had to use their fine motor skills to cut, wrap and paint the different characters. The children’s favourite decoration was the spooky bunting they made! These included, vampires, mummies, pumpkins and Frankenstein! The children said that it was colourful! Preschool were so excited to see all their decorations being hanged up and was showing each other which ones were theirs! To finish off our spooky crafts, preschool made spooky jelly, using spiders.
