Snow Prints
This week in toddler room we continued our winter topic by making snow prints. To begin we painted some snow together. We used paint and brushes to colour the snow and make rainbow patterns. We then continued to use the brushes and our hands to mix the colour’s together. We loved that by doing this we could create new colour’s. We made green by mixing the yellow and blue paint together and purple by mixing the blue and red paint. This helped us with our colour recognition and helped us develop our motor skills. Once we were happy with the colour’s we created we got some paper and pushed it on top of our snow. When we lifted the paper up we had created some lovely prints and patterns on the paper. We really enjoyed the cause and effect of this experiment and loved looking at our patterns and pictures. Well done toddlers what a great experiment.
