Sensory Pouches
To end our light and dark topic, the babies have been exploring different colours ranging from dark colours and bright colours. We made sensory pouches by squeezing paint into Zip lock bags, we then encouraged the children to use their fine motor skills to squeeze the different coloured paint into the bags and then they used the paint pouches on the colour changing light up table. The babies enjoyed watching the lights change different colours and they also had fun pressing, squeezing and poking the pouches whilst they made their marks in the paint.
