Frozen pom-poms sensory exploration
This week in baby room we continued our winter topic by creating a frozen sensory tray. The babies enjoyed the sensory experience and different textures created by the pompoms. During the activity we used word prompts related to the temperature and the colours we could see. At the end of the activity we decided to use lukewarm water to melt the ice to create coloured water and to release and explore the cold and wet pompoms using our fine motor skills to pick up and squeeze them.
