Local policing team visit
Following our recent curriculum topic People who help us we invited in the local policing team to visit the nursery to share their roles with the children. This was a keen interest for the preschool children throughout February as they used their imagination and built role play ideas with their peers dressing up as police people. The children were extremely happy to explore the Police van including the siren button, and meeting the team. The children asked a range questions and were excited to test the horn. We extended this back into the nursery with a police role play and an activity of what I would like to be when I am older including collages and circle time activities.
