This week in toddler room the children enjoyed learning about how cress seeds grow. The children enjoyed planting their cress seeds using scoops and spades and enjoyed digging up the soil from the pot and placing it into their plant pot. The children then used their fine motor skills to sprinkle the cress seeds into the pot. The children then observed the cress seeds and watched them grow. The children then enjoyed looking and identifying the cress plant and once it was grown our adults helped us cut it so we could have it in our sandwich. 

 The children then used their fine motor skills to butter their bread and enjoyed sprinkling the cheese in their sandwich and enjoyed placing the cress in it. We then enjoyed our sandwich and ate it all up.
