Peek A Boo It’s Me
This week in baby room to end the topic ‘all about me’ we decided to play peek a boo. We first got all their baby pictures and hid them in rice. The children used their hands to sweep the rice around to find their hidden pictures, they enjoyed searching and looking for their pictures hidden. We introduced new words such as ‘peek a boo’, baby and family’. The babies responded by lots of babbling and smiles, they were also very keen on showing their peers their pictures. We then extended this activity by playing peek a boo game in the sensory room with the colorful scarves. The babies used their fine motor skills to place the scarves over their heads and when the adults said “1,2,3” peek a boo the babies took the scarves over their heads. They really enjoyed playing peek a boo with their staff and peers.
