Pancake Day

On Tuesday, preschool enjoyed a fun filled day of pancake themed activities. We started off by making our own frying pans and pancakes out of cardboard. Once we drew around them the children then enjoyed using different colours and enjoyed painting the pancakes and the frying pan. The children then enjoyed flipping their pancakes and was competing against their peers to see how many times they can flip their pancakes. One child said “I flipped my pancake 3 times”. The children then enjoyed helping Kurtys to make pancake on the crepe machine. We learnt about health and safety precautions when we were around the machine and we enjoyed pouring, measuring and mixing all the ingredients together. The children then enjoyed choosing their own toppings from the topping station and enjoyed eating their pancakes with their peers.
