Our Senses
In baby room we have been exploring our senses and different textures. We provided the children with different messy play items of different consistency and scents such as apple scented conditioner, coloured foam soap, cornflour, berry infused tea and coloured rice, this enabled them to choose the consistency they preferred to explore, they enjoyed the texture of the foam soap with the opportunity to use their hands or the objects provided to explore it. They were able to use scoops to fill and pour, paintbrushes to make marks and colanders to sift the rice.
