Our emergency services

This week in baby room we are focusing on our new topic ‘people who help us’. The babies got to look at the different types of emergency services. The babies enjoyed playing in the colourful tuff tray that had the different emergency service vehicles , we also added different coloured foods to represent the emergency services. For example , we had orange rice to represent the fire brigade and blue oats to represent the police. The babies then had the chance to listen to a book all about ‘Fireman Sam’ and the tricky jobs that he has to do to help people. To end the activity some of the babies then had fun dressing up as firefighters and playing with the red sirens.
