Old McDonald had a farm

This week in baby room we brought the old McDonald farm to them because some of our babies have been interested in different farm animals and their sounds so we created a farm tuff tray based on their interest. We made this with different food resources such as: Vegan custard which we dyed brown to imitate mud, blue rice to imitate water and oats which we dyed yellow to imitate hay. The babies were very engaged with this activity and enjoyed exploring all the different materials and animals that were on the farm. Some of the babies are starting to learn their animal sounds and “Moo” being their favourite one. After the babies played, they tried the edible mud and was safe to say that they really enjoyed it once they found out it was all edible and had great fun playing with their activity.
