Life Cycle Of The Flower
This week in preschool we have kick-started off our summer topic learning about flowers, we watched a short informative clip on the touch and tilt table where we learned the information, we needed to reconstruct our own flower. We learned language like sepal and pollinisation. We then used real life flowers as a muse for our own flower display, we then used our handwriting skills to label the different flower parts that we had learned about like “stem” and “petals”. To further this, we did 3d tissue paper flowers using pipe cleaners. Our favourite part was learning how new flowers were made, this is where we learned words like pollen. In circle time we also looked at the Makaton signs for “bee”, “flower” and “grow”.
