Life Cycle of a Frog

To finish our topic of life cycles the preschool enjoyed learning and exploring about the life cycle of a frog. The children enjoyed watching a short clip on the touch and tilt to understand the lifecycle of a frog and to learn the 4 different stages on the life cycle. The 4 stages of the life cycle are being: egg (frogspawn), tadpole, froglet and frog! We learnt that the female frogs lay up to 4,00 eggs. The children enjoyed a tuff tray with the different stages and exploring what was inside the tray. The preschool used their senses as we soaked some chia seeds in water to resemble the jelly like texture. The Children enjoyed the sensory experience of the chia seeds, and we also found logs from our bug hotel to add to the tuff tray!
