Holi
On Monday the pre-schoolers enjoyed learning about the Hindu festival ‘Holi’. The children enjoyed researching on the touch and tilt what Holi is and how it is celebrated around the world. The children watched a short video explaining what Holi is and how the festival is celebrated around the world. The children then took part in a splat painting activity. They used cotton wool balls and dipped this into water coloured paint and then used a splatting method to create lovely pieces of artwork on their picture.

Well done preschool
In toddler room we celebrated Holi with a splash of colour. We explored making marks with paint through dabbing and splatting this was a fun way for us to use our fine motor skills we used glue spreaders to spread glue to add a dash of coloured flour to create lovely patterns and pictures. Great job toddlers.
