This week preschool learnt about how we can help out others in need especially during the Christmas period. We learnt that sometimes families can find it hard to buy new toys and clothes and we understood that it can make families feel sad and some of us said we felt sad too. To give back to our community and help those in need, we decided we would take some of our nursery spare clothes to the local charity shop and donate the items. We took a walk to our closest charity shop TRAID, and took in a few bags of clothes to donate. When we went inside the lady explained to us how grateful she was and how we have all done an excellent job at trying to donate and help our local community out during the festive season.
