In the toddler room we celebrated the beginning of Hanukkah. We explored a Hanukkah themed tuft tray where we explored light and putting candles on our Menorah. As we explored the tray we listened to a book called “Hanukkah Lights” This book helped us learn about what happens in a household during Hanukkah. We learned about lighting a candle every night on the Menorah. Playing games like shadow games and playing with a dreidel. We also talked about getting gold coins and presents and spending time with families.
