Hand & Feet Painting
This week in toddler room we explored different textured paint with body parts on a large scale of paper. The children enjoyed exploring the paints that were mixed with ingredients to make different textures that the children can explore. We spoke about the different coloured paints that were used. The children used their hands, fingers and feet and we focused on using those body parts and how the paint would feel when touching, this allowed the children to develop their sense of sight and touch. The children enjoyed making loads of different unique marks including hand prints and also foot prints, enabling their fine motor skills, walking across the paper developing their balance and seeing the marks they make within their art work.
