Glow stick sensory bags

In baby room we have continued to explore the different effects of light. This week we used different types of messy resources in ziplock bags to create sensory pouches. The babies then investigated the way lights can look combines with all the resources that we used. We added glow sticks to the pouches and the babies had the opportunity to observe the way these shone and glowed using our light up table in the dark room. The babies enjoyed squashing and squeezing the different materials inside of the bags and observing the textures and how they moved. They also observed the glowing effect and felt the texture of the different materials and resources that were used.
