Another eventful day this week has been ‘friendship day’, which has brought such a warm and sweet insight for all the children together, giving them the opportunity to acknowledge one another and express positive things as a group. We gathered with some pens and paper to create a brainstorm which had the centre question, ‘What makes me a good friend?”. Going around the circle we asked each child for their response to that, and had a variety of nice answers like, “sharing”, “funny”, “playing”, “creative”, “kind”, “caring”, and multiple others.
