Foam party!

This week in toddler room we explored our love of messy play and creative play. For our first activity we explored different coloured foam in trays. We enjoyed using our motor skill to scoop and pat the foam.  It was so much fun putting foam in our hands and clapping, it went everywhere! We extended this by adding utensils and seeing what shapes we could make using different objects. We loved the footprints the different animals made. For our next activity we got creative, we made some masks for our carnival on Friday. We explored lots of different colours and materials as we created our designs. We tested our ideas through creating shapes and patterns using our fine motor skills to spread glue and paint. We enjoyed this so much that we extended this to making streamers and decorations for the room. Great job toddlers what a creative week we have had.
