Exploring the snow
This week the children were excited for the arrival of the snow and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the ice and snow in a variety of different ways. The preschool children enjoyed gathering snow to bring into the room for their colour changing experiments, Using pipettes and paint the children explore how the colours changed and are absorbed by the snow.
The preschool children extended this further by predicting which scoop of snow weighed more using the scales they test their ideas.
The toddler room loved linking the snow into their small world experiences and enjoyed their small world snow village with multi-cultural people.
