In the baby room we have gained another new experience!
We combined food play with mark making. We added various spring themed food colouring to some natural yoghurt and the babies were given the opportunity to use their hands or the paintbrushes provided to make marks on a large scale as a group, this enabled them to socialise as they made their own marks. The babies enjoyed the texture of the yoghurt and loved being able to taste their mark making resources. This activity gave us the opportunity to promote communication and language by using the names of the different colours we used.
