Down in the jungle

This week in baby room, the babies have enjoyed exploring jungle animals. During this activity we had fake grass, jungle animals, shaving foam and a selection of different plants. Some of them were artificial and some were real leaves that we picked from our garden. This activity gave the babies the opportunity to explore the different textures whilst having fun playing with the jungle animals. We also mimicked some of the animal’s sounds and some of the older babies were also able to copy. This activity was a great way for the babies to get to know about the jungle animals and their environment through messy play, they had fun exploring the tuff tray and most importantly enjoyed getting messy with the shaving foam.
