In the baby room we engaged all our senses whilst exploring all things Christmassy, we used our sense of touch to explore the tinsel and beads, we used ziplock bags to create sensory pouches using tinsel. We explored the Christmas tree and had the opportunity to decorate it using tinsel and baubles. They also used our sense of hearing to listen to the bells jingle as they shook them. They explored the branches of a real Christmas tree using their sense of smell and touch. The babies were also very excited to tear open the wrapping paper to see what was hidden inside.
