Autumn Soup

This week in baby room we explored making our own autumn soup which consisted of water, leaves, acorns and flowers. The babies used their fine motor skills to mix up all their soup together. The babies then added their own utensils to their soup and used empty boxes to pour their soup and they enjoyed splashing in the water. We introduced new words to the babies such as “water, Splashing, Bubbles. The babies responded by babbling away and communicated with their peers as they were playing with their soup. The babies thoroughly enjoyed making their soup and enjoyed exploring the different textures in the tray.
