Anniversary of the Moon landing 

To commemorate the first landing on the moon, preschool painted their own giant moon. They then took turns to walk across the moon with different coloured paint to represent the first steps on the moon that were taken! The children also enjoyed different space themed stories. They especially enjoyed the one about the first bug on the moon.

This week we took a trip to the moon. The toddlers used their imaginative and small world play to take our play people on a trip to the moon.  We explored moon sand and moon rocks as we played. We also listened to a story about a mission to the moon called “Molly's moon mission”. As we played and explored the rocket ship we sang “Zoom, Zoom, zoom.” And copied the actions we had learned with Lauren during our Lucy Sparkles session.
