Animals Stuck In Mud!
This week in the toddler room we combined two of our room interests, animals and water play, to create one big activity. The animals had become stuck in some sticky oozy mud and the children needed to help clean them and get them to become unstuck. We used jugs and pipettes to pour our bubbly water onto the animals. We really enjoyed exploring the gloopy mud with our hands and feeling the change in the texture when the water was added. We then used a variety of materials to help clean our animals. We used tooth brushes and paint brushes that we dipped into water to helped clean the sticky mud from the animals. We all worked together scooping and pouting the water onto the animals and using the different objects to clean the animals. We exercised our motor skills as we used the utensils to clean the animals. Great job toddlers!
