A Cosy Story Time

This week in preschool Chuckles bought us a magical end of term gift! When we looked up he had bought us some hot chocolate to have all together! We first read a story about the making of Santa and did a little risk assessment about making the hot chocolate, we identified that some risks included the hot milk, the spoon getting hot whilst pouring, or falling in and the milk spiling.  Whilst our story was being read our adult warmed up the milk, we then got scoops of the chocolate and added it to the milk, we had to be very careful! We then stirred it making sure all the powder dissolved, after that we poured our own chocolate milk and had discussions about what we were going to do over the festive period, including seeing family, friends and the most common answer of opening presents! This was a lovely cosy activity and the children really enjoyed it whilst managing the risks! Well done preschool and happy holidays to all!
