Lions have been learning about the season summer, where they have looked at books, enjoyed their time in the garden with lots of water play and by using the lap top their have looked at what bees do and how to collect the pollen from the flower. They have also learnt the importance of why they are creamed before going into the garden and why they need to drink plenty of water throughout their day. 

They have created their display board with lots of fun activities of what they have learnt, making sunflowers, creating their own sand pictures by blending cornflakes to make the sand and then sticking it on the paper and making bees. 

Learning about the seasons helps children understand the passage of time and teaches them about change.
