Schema Play 'Enclosing'

The children in Tigers have shown interests in fitting objects inside other objects, which is known has enclosing. So an  activity was set up with wooden blocks and zoo animals, where the children could enclose them within the wooden blocks.

The EYFS acknowledges that schemas are an intrinsic part of child development, stating that practitioners should 'encourage independence as young children explore particular patterns of movement, sometimes referred to as schemas'.
