The children enjoyed playing with playdough, making marks using different shape cutters and using rolling pins to flatten the play dough.
In the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), playdough is considered a valuable tool for supporting a wide range of developmental areas, particularly in fine motor skills, creativity, imaginative play, and sensory exploration, allowing children to manipulate the dough, creating shapes, textures, and objects which enhances their hand-eye coordination and dexterity while engaging them in open-ended play.
