On Wednesday 22nd May it was National Numeracy day and the children in Tigers and cubs enjoyed circle time with lots of props to sing with and one of their favourite was 5 little Ducks, which they extended into a creative activity which they used feathers t create their own duck pictures. 

introducing maths to children from an early age helps to develop their understanding of all elements of maths, problem-solving and reasoning in a range of contexts. As practitioners we need to be able to provide opportunities for children to practise their developing skills and knowledge.
