National Biscuit Day
Lions made biscuits for the whole nursery for National Biscuit Day. They measured all the ingredients with support and mixed everything together and then created their own biscuit shape.
Baking offers opportunities for the children to enhance their fine and gross motor movements, using the tools and equipment to measure the ingredients. This will also support the children to extend the skill they support then with using cutlery at meal times.
