Lions enjoyed making their Gingerbread people, first off all the children weighed up all the ingredients they need for the mixture, they each made their own Gingerbread person by rolling out the dough and then using a cutter shaped as a person. Once the mixture was cooked they decorated it with icing sugar.
Cooking activities allow the children to achieve several learning outcome such as having a strong sense of wellbeing, by doing a group cooking activities help to develop children's sense of belonging by encouraging turn taking and cooperation. it helps the children to practice a range of physical skills, particularly their hand and eye co-ordination.
