Lions have been watching the butterflies in the garden on the buddleia tree in the garden. The children set to make their own butterflies by painting one side of the paper and then folding the paper in half and rub it all over, this enabled them to create their own unique butterfly painting.
Painting is a way for the children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore colour, explore process and outcomes, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences.
